Fall/Winter Capsule Wardrobe (Nursing Friendly)

You may or may not have heard of capsule wardrobes, but here’s the deal: you pick out a certain number of clothing and only wear outfits from those articles for a certain amount of time. Since I’m in a weird stage body-wise right now (recently had a baby and breastfeeding), I gravitate towards the same outfits anyway, but wanted to be more intentional about it. I’m  a huge proponent of getting rid of things I don’t need, especially clothes, and I’ve also recently decided to only buy clothes that really and truly fit and make me happy. Quality over quantity.

Here is my simple list (I have not included athletic wear, leggings and sweats):

Bottoms:
2 pairs jeans (these and these)
1 pair black jeans
1 pair colored pants (need to update, maybe these?)
1 patterned skirt

Outerwear:
1 neutral cardigan
1 black cardigan
1 cream/white sweater
1 colored sweater
1 striped sweater
1 green utility vest

Tops:
1 plaid shirt
1 chambray shirt
2 grey shirts (1 light, 1 dark)
1 black & white striped shirt
2 dresses

Shoes:
2 pair booties
1 pair boots
1 pair Toms

Accessories:
2 scarves
a couple necklaces & pairs of earrings

Have  you ever done a capsule wardrobe? Any tips?
