November Goals

We had about two days of fall weather before it got cold. Guys, there was snow on the ground this morning! I’m so not ready for winter. But I am ready for the holidays with family.

October Goals

Confession time. I failed all things blog this past month. So much in fact, that I didn’t even post a September goals post!

August went semi-well – I just didn’t reach my goals in blogging and working out regularly, even though I did make it to the gym and out for a run a couple of times.
So, let’s look at my last goals:

August Goals
~ plan/host a bachelorette party
~ start meal planning again
~ get Vashti married!!!
~ pick up a regular blogging schedule again
~ reconnect with friends
~ start working out again

I will note that in September I did hit a pretty big goal – I booked our tickets for Europe this Christmas!!! It will be Loren and Emberly’s first time over there and I am so excited to take them to some of my favorite places. We will be visiting my family in Germany, then hitting up France and Switzerland.

While I do hope to step up my blogging game this fall, I’m not going to set any goals in that department and maybe then I’ll actually be more consistent. Let’s see if this reverse psychology works on me.

Looks like July went fabulously! I guess that’s what happens when you set easy goals. 😉
August will [hopefully] kind of be a “reset” month for me. Body, soul and mind. Let’s do this!

July Goals
~ HAVE A BABY!!!!!
~ celebrate the 4th either in the hospital or at home with family
~ help plan/host a bridal shower

July Goals

Here we are at the beginning of another month! I’m not sure how June sped by so fast, but I guess that’s what happens when you have a lot going on. And I’m sure the rest of the year will fly by even faster!

June Goals
~ get outside/take a walk every day
~ turn another year older
~ make freezer meals
~ finish getting baby stuff & setting up the nursery
~ plan an awesome last date night before baby comes (don’t worry, we still plan on having date nights after she comes)

Have a wonderful long holiday weekend and light some sparklers or fireworks for me!

June Goals

Watermelon season is in full swing! But who are we kidding, I’ve been eating watermelons since they hit the stores last month and I have no plans of quitting anytime soon.

May goals went pretty well! Let’s see if we can knock all of June’s out of the park.

May Goals
~ start planning freezer meals
~ plan & take a little anniversary/babymoon trip – rather last minute, but we made it happen!
~ host one of my best friends for a week – and she completely spoiled us
~ go on a picnic (totally pulling this from last month) – slipped this in right at the end of the month
~ start monetizing my blog

~ meal plan BEFORE grocery shopping

February Goals

Raise your hand if you’re ready for warm weather! I’m raising both hands over here. At least the sun came out yesterday and it was glorious. I just need to keep trying to talk Loren into moving somewhere it’s always warm.
Anyway, I’m here to talk about monthly goals, not weather:

January Goals
~ write lots of thank you notes
~ read 3 books
~ host a holiday party
~ blog 3-4 times a week
~ post a home tour
~ make a wreath for the front door (Well, I bought one. Does that count?)
~ organize the pantry

Normally on Friday, I would post my Friday Favorites, but since it’s still the beginning of January, I’m going to share my January goals instead. While I’m not big on New Year’s resolutions, I do like to set monthly goals for myself.
So here goes:
